Nickel alloy monel 400/k-500 base plate

Monel 400 is a deformable nickel-copper nickel-based alloy with good corrosion resistance to seawater and chemical corrosion, and strong resistance to stress corrosion cracking of chloride. The alloy is one of the few that can be used in fluoride. In hydrofluoric acid and fluorine gas medium has a good resistance to oxide stress fission corrosion, such as seawater, salt water environment.

Product Details

The chemical composition of Monel400 alloy is mainly composed of 30%Cu and 65%Ni plus a small amount of Fe(1%-2%). The structure is typical monophasic austenite. Since nickel and copper can be miscible in any proportion, there is generally no intermetallic phase precipitation.
