Hastelloy C-4 Seamless PipeHastelloy C-4 alloy is a nickel-chromium-molybdenum alloy with outstanding high-temperature stability as evidenced by high ductility and corrosion resistance even after aging in the 1200 to 1900°F (649 to 1038°C) range. This alloy resists the formation of grain-boundary precipitates in the weld heat-affected zone, thus making it suitable for most chemical process applications in the as-welded condition.

Hastelloy C-4 offers resistance to mineral acids, organic and inorganic acids, sea water and brine solutions. It has service temperature up to 1900oF or 1038oC. Outstanding resistance to high temperature corrosion and stress corrosion cracking.

Hastelloy C-22 is a versatile nickel-chromium-molybdenum alloy with better overall corrosion resistance than other Ni-Cr-Mo alloys available today, including hastelloy C-276, C-4, and A625.  Alloy C-22 has outstanding resistance to pitting, crevice corrosion and stress-corrosion cracking.  It has excellent resistance to oxidizing aqueous media including acids with oxidizing agents, wet chlorine and mixtures containing nitric acid or oxidizing acids with chlorine ions.
